Elmbridge Under 14s: Kick off New season

Elmbridge Under 14s kicked off their League campaign at the weekend going down 26-22 away at St Albans in an evenly fought contest.

Elmbridge had 4 players making their debuts - playing their first games of Rugby League against a well organised St Albans team, all Elmbridge debutants adapting to the game quickly, which promises much for the future as this age group at the Club looks to build their squad. There was also a solid performance from one of the Under 13s Ollie Game, stepping up a year.

St Albans led at half time 14- 12 and Elmbridge just ran out of steam in the closing minutes as St Albans held on for a 26-22 victory, a major factor being their superior completion rate with the ball of 70%.
